Wakf Board Ownership Late Mughal period (A.D 1735-36) Mosque
Dating to the 18th century, this is a large mosque, still in active use. The structure, however, has been greatly altered from its original form, and retains little historic detail. It is three storeys high and has shops on the ground floor. The first floor has a large terrace, accessed through a large ornamental gateway with a moulded frieze and three mock minarets. The terrace has a crenellated parapet. Internally, the mosque retains a large courtyard, part of which has now been covered. The prayer hall is five bays wide and faced in sandstone. It has foliated arched openings and mouldings on the arch edge and architrave. There are also some squat Shahjahani columns
